Working Perk Calculator 2.0

Hello,

I was wondering, why I can´t find any perk calculator / planer for 7d2d? There are a few older versions but it would be great, getting one for 2.0.
Am I the only one, who would like to plan his Char "offline"?
I´m also wondering, that there is no such offer by The Fun Pimps.

Long time ago I built one in Excel, but its a lot of work in Excel.

Greetings

The one I used was by Pavalso on GitHub. It may take a while before we see anyone update/create them since some of the Perks and Skills were moved/changed/added in 2.0.

That would be pretty easy to create. What exactly are you looking for from something like that? Just something that lets you see how many levels it takes to get a certain set of perks? Or something else? If I know what you want it to do, I could probably have that done tomorrow. Try to give specific information on what you want it to do and how you want it to work. I'd rather not guess and then have to redo it because my guess was wrong. :)

Hi,

first of all, thanks for your answers.
@Riamus, that would be awesome.

I thought about something like this: www.jacksay.com/perks
It was for alpha 19 and unfortunately, the creator never updated it. In the end it would be something like you said: "Just something that lets you see how many levels it takes to get a certain set of perks" - maybe with information to all perks. Off course if possible not just a chart but with graphics and possible the ingame look... 😁

Thanks a lot

I'll see what I can do for you. But it will not have graphics. At least, not today. I'm not a designer and I don't have the ability to rip graphics files directly from the game and I don't want to spend time today trying to screenshot a bunch of images. But it will do what you want even if it's not pretty. ;)

And it will be a downloaded utility and not on a website.

Thanks a lot for all of your effort. But please it´s not that important so I don´t want you to hurry for it or spent too much time.

Thank you :)

Yeah, I won't have this finished today. I didn't realize how much text there is to type for all of these perks. But I do have all perks added, all main perk descriptions added, and all perk level names added for Perception, and the perk level descriptions for the Perception attribute (not the actual perks), with a few minor other things done. You can select different ones and see their different information. But I still have to add the descriptions for every perk level and the perk level names for the other trees, and then add the "purchasing" of perks. So it'll take a bit yet. I'll let you know once it is complete. It may take another couple of days, but we'll see.

Thank you very much. Take your time :)
I saw that you posted about that one being updated, so I've been taking my time on this. I have it almost entirely finished and am having some people do some testing of it to find any bugs. After that I'll post it... probably by Monday. I know you already have one that does what you want, but I didn't want to stop working on this. The extra time was helpful since I could improve how I was doing things and make the tool better. I'll post another update once it's available in the mods section in case you want to try it out even though you have that website version.
