Melee new updates and more
You have now a more varied way of playing now.
First Is new moves/combat moves, you have basic and power attack. Then you have a minor block that lessens the damage you take in the front by 50% and when you press both mouse keys or bumpers you can do a push/bash
You are also able to bash with guns and Bows and you can equip heavy stocks and bayonet to ether make your hits more lethal, more stunning, add bleed, or quicker with less cost to stamina.
Bashing allows you too keep zombies at bay, much like L4D it's good for 1 or 2 zombies but don't expect it to save you on horde night or tanky zombies.. and bashing cost about 50 stamina per bash but is lowerd with perks
Blocking lowers your stamina faster and faster over time the longer you do it so but it reduces the damage taken. However with a sheild you will take no damage but at the cost of sheilds health and stamina
Blocking a hit in the right time will give you stamina back.
One handed weapons are special because you can equip a sheild while two handed weapons can not. Side note: Pistols and magnums can use sheilds as well.
You equip your sheild via ether just your inventory or a sheild slot that will be showen on your hop Bar.
When you have a sheild your power attack is replaced with a sheild block that will lower or ignore damage from the front. However the sheild will take the damage and break quicker overtime.
Two handed weapons hit harder but uses more stamina and can't uses sheilds.
Lastly, you have 5 tiers of melee weapons
Guns:
Most have 2 sub types but some (pistols have more and others) each sub type Is a different ammo type and deal more or less damage
General
Harvesting Tools
• Picks/hachets harvest more uses less stamina but deal less damage
• Pickaxes/axes/shovels harvest less uses more stamina but deal heavy damage
• Mechanical tools harvest even more and deal high damage but cost fuel
You stuff like your starting Stone axe then you progression to scrap and you can have a scrap hachet or axe/pick or pick axe. And it goes up and up
dismantling tools
• Allows dismantling to scrap things down
You go from a wrench to a heavy wrench, rachet, impact driver to the motor driver:
repair tools
• Level now effects repair amount and increase upgrade speed
• You go from a stone axe, claw hammer, nail gun. Same as usual
farming tools (harvest and tending)
• Harvesting tools Increase harvest of plants/grass destruction
• These are sycles. You go from your hands, to scrap, iron iron renfoced, etc all the way to harvester. Each tier and level increases chance of harvest and a base harvest amount. So with the Harvester you can get like up to 20 plus any skills or armor
• Treding and able to upgrade crop plots and dirt on the ground
These are Hoes, they allow you to harvest crops on the ground like the old days and also auto plant seeds. And change the ground type too a dirt if your choice for the cost of clay.
Perception
Spears/pikes
Spears/pikes are two handed weapons that excell in range in terms of melee. Spears are shorter range but faster to hit with while pikes are slower but hit harder

You go from Pipe shotguns to break actions, double action, revolver shotguns, Lever actions, pump shotguns then auto shotguns.
Sledge Hammers
Great and powerful and perfect for hordes but at the cost of stamina there's no sub types but It's great to break skulls. And great at stunning. It can break sheilds quick. Nothing much to say
you got stone, scrap, iron, etc
