PC Will the new 7 Days to Die Console Edition be getting updates?

Will the new Console Edition be getting updates like the PC version does or will we just have to buy the game again when new versions get released? (Serious question)

 
It has been. Kinda has to be in order to support cross-platform play, which is already enabled.

Did you not do any research at all before starting this thread?

 
No I did not, sorry, this was the easiest and most efficient way to get an answer. I did not want to buy the game without knowing
