That's right!   Killed a chicken and was harvesting it.  Zombie was getting close, so backed up and .....

The bloody chickenthief stopped and ATE MY CHICKEN!

I was not amused, so had to beat him to death.

haha but nope that wont work... fresh kills seem to bring them out of the shadows (so to speak)

i had wandering horde travel by and swipe my deer i shot  that was about 30 ft away... they out ran me for it and won the food battle. it is funny as hell now when that happens.. now i have to look around before killing animals.

Yep, it works as bait.  Not sure there is a lot of need for it, though.  More of a way to slow down a bunch of zombies that are after you than as bait.
