PC What are the chances of getting "the PVP update" on alpha 18?

Mad mole said himself,I do believe, in one of the a17 preview videos that this alpha is one that they have pretty much gotten the game where they wanted it to be in their vision and even said that they were Considering the possiblity of moving into the beta. Curious if one of the devs could shed some light on the possibility of PVP being worked on in the next alpha.

Also I'm not saying the entire alpha should only be PVP focused, I dont/wouldn't want that, but maybe the start of tinkering with that aspect of the game. Thanks

 
Maybe pvp should be a seperate release as it seems to cause problems between pve/pvp . Never thought the game was intended for pvp although i understand its popularity ( by seperate release i only mean tweaked for pvp rather than trying to combine both and running into problems for both.)

 
Hope they do Bandits first. Seems like the next really big change due to come with the game with a host of tweaks that would impact PVP and PVE. Would seem like wasted effort to do much more tweaking of the game beyond 17.1 or 17.2 before adding such a notable feature.
