PC We also advise that you delete the 7 Days save Game data folder before playing.

You can also use the launcher tool to delete all that data

Most item and weapon modlets should still work right? Like if I have a modlet that adds a gladius or a hatchet or a spartan sword that should be unaffected?

You can't count on mods working. For a major update like this I would be very surprised if any work.

I would remove the mods, install A20, start a game. Quit, then put just one mod in. See if it works, if it doesn't, remove it, put the next mod in and see if it works. Likewise if the mod works, add the next mod and see if it works.

Yes be wary of mods and modlets.  For example, loot containers are dropping the ID names so any mod that modifies loot.xml will have issues if it is not updated to Alpha20
