Want to Pick Up, Craft, or Buy Posters, Flagpoles, Tables, etc.

Hi, my wife and I love this game! There are a lot of great items we see in POI's that we would like to be able to use in our own base. We play on PS5. Is there any way to pick up, craft, or buy items like posters, flagpoles, patio tables, and so much more? If not, that would be great to include this option in the next mod.
 
Yeah, unfortunately I don't see them doing this. Would be nice, though. There is a great mod by GNS that allows you to pickup (or wrench to pickup) almost any decoration block in the game, but I see you're on console.

That's what I was wondering.

I used to play on a server where the server operator would use Creative Menu to get a Player Vending Machine and then place it. Then, anything the players wanted to buy, the operator would get it from the Creative Menu and place it in the Player Vending Machine which set the default price, or something like that.

Not from what I've heard, but like ZZTong said, an admin on PC can get them and place them in a vending machine or just hand them out. Still, I always support making more things available to craft. I don't like having so many things locked behind the creative menu.

I do think there is an option to craft at least some posters or pictures (or maybe it was buy), but I haven't looked in awhile. I seem to remember a single "block" that let you select from a number of them.
 
Id love to see a construction crafting bench...Craft up some of those items you find in the creative menu, Maybe have a skill section called "builder bob" and you can unlock 5 levels of place able decor items to decorate a base...Maybe could lead to having dlc decor?

I haven't played on console. But are the game settings different there?

This is common on public PvE servers.

I don't think the settings are necessarily different, but there is no 'F1' key for them to press to open the console. As far as I know, that's the only way to enable the creative menu.

You can enable it from the game options on PC or a server, but from what I have heard, console can't access the creative menu even if it is enabled. That may not be accurate or may have changed. I don't use console, so it is just what I have heard.

I always enabled it in the settings when creating/loading a game. Never enabled it through the console.
