Anytime I change my volume, the volume level overlay pops up in the upper left hand corner of my screen and my game drops frames so hard it's almost paused until that overlay fades away. It does this everywhere (in-game and on menu screens) where it lags out hard and becomes nearly unresponsive while the overlay is present. Is there any work-around for this besides turning off the Sound taskbar notification icon (thus disabling the display)?
