Video files

I've been adding a lot of audio files for my mod and was wondering if video files work as well? I made a TV in Unity and it all works in there but no joy in getting it to work on game with just the resources file. I think it has to do with the video file being a texture. Has anyone gotten videos to play.

But i swear i saw a vid of a popular modder a few days ago, who made a "cinemascreen". Which shows a short vid

If it wasnt a dream i guess u can find it too in the forum. And ask the modder

No dream but if you mean what i remember now it was a edited video that showed a video in the video aka game on a cinema screen.

So not what Sorrowthief asked.

In a 16 someone posted a video with a working tv, but no idea if it was real ingame or a video edit too

Ok, so i missunderstood him. Maybe wrong too, but i think in A16 the starvation mod has a working tv too.

Starvation had a working TV in A15 but if I recall correctly it would not work on dedi and required custom C# code. My video players do seem to work well on dedi and are vanilla modlets.
