Very high ping issues joining friend

Hello, so me and my friend decided to come back to this game couple of days ago. He created the world, I joined him and... Meh. -4k+ ping. it goes down to 100 if we both don't move and don't do anything. Well I thought he may have some troubles with internet so I was a host. Again 4k+ of ping, the same issue here! Well We have both beefy pc's and quite good internet. Well at least we didn't had this problem almost 2 years ago. Please help us, we'd like to play this game together. The dedicated server doesn't work for me.

Without logfiles it is very difficult to help you. Further information may be needed, but logfiles are the first step in any search for causes.
