Windows version 2.1 stable in steam

TFP only gets a limited number of versions published on steam. If they would add 2.1 they would have to remove an older major version. Since those are more interesting for players (due to being more distinct to other versions) I don't think that would be a popular decision.
 
Also, keep in mind that once 2.x is finished and we move to 3.0, it is likely that all versions of 2.x other than the final version will be removed, just like with other versions of the game. So if you are using a mod that prevents you from updating the game, it would be a good idea to try to get that mod updated so that it will work in newer versions before all other 2.x versions get removed in the future.
