Vehicle mod and other.

Dunno if this was requested before. This may sound crazy and off the wall, but how about a vehicle mod that switches the engine on the mini bike, motorcycle, 4x4 truck and gyrocopter to burn liquid hydrogen instead of gasoline, and make it so you can only get the schematic to build the mod by finding it in loot instead of buying it from the trader. Also have some kind of workstation that makes the water into hydrogen, and make the hydrogen have a blue gas can, instead of red. Thank You.

That would be neat. I'm into alternative energies.

In the year the game is set, hydrogen power might be a thing even, though less likely than electric vehicles unless perhaps semi-trucks get into it. Hydrogen vehicles aren't getting as much research as the electrics, so they're behind as is the development of the supporting infrastructure. The last I knew, we were making hydrogen from not-so-green sources such as from natural gas. (aka Blue Hydrogen)

A more classic alternative fuel would by alcohol: methanol (requires less tech) or maybe ethanol. To me, this sounds like the most likely fuel for a wasteland.

Does anyone remember people making their diesel cars run on fryer oil?
