Hi there, friends! Hoping for some help here.
My friends and I have been playing a new world since 2.0 came out. There are three of us and the game has been fine until the recent patch this week. We just tried loading it up for the first time since the 2.1 update and me and friend 1 (the one hosting the server) have been able to load in just fine, but friend 2 has had issues.
She either gets stuck at various points in the loading screen or loads in and is hit with the "NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error and can't do anything.
We have tried a lot of different things.
We have all removed our mods and nothing changed.
We have all tried loading into each other's worlds and me and friend 1 are always able to load into each other's worlds, but friend 2 can't. If she's the host then we both cannot load into hers (getting stopped at the loading screen like she does when she's loading into our worlds).
She has uninstalled and reinstalled. Cleared and verified her files. Tried a new player profile and nothing has worked so far.
We've tried anti-cheat on and off and no change.
The only thing we are thinking is that she is on Windows 11 and we're on both Windows 10.
