i have searched all over the console forums for info on a new update for consoles. i saw that PCs got a new update a few weeks ago, but i have not seen any thing new for consoles. did i miss something or isthere not a new update for console yet? if not, is there any idea when the next console update will be?

Consoles and PCs have their own update schedules. We just got two big ones over the summer. There's an updates and announcements thread that has all of the info.

PC and console aren't even developed by the same companies. When there is an announcement on an upcoming update, it will be posted in the Console News and Announcements section.
Until that happens, no one here has any idea on when the next update will be.

I do not understand why people think there might somehow be public knowledge of something that's never been announced.

I think it's more or less just wishful thinking.
I know I'm antsy for some new content. I check the "news & announcements" thread almost everyday, hoping to finally see the post number to hit "52"....then I'll know a new patch is on its way.
We all love this game & just wanna get the most out of it
