Unplayable lag due to ping (20k+)

Need help figuring out why my ping spikes so high when playing with friends. When standing still it's roughly 120~ but as soon as I try to move it jumps and I fall through the map. Any input is appreciated. Disabling uNet was removed from the launcher menu in 17 so that's out, as far as I know..

Does it happen on all public servers, or just a specific game? Log onto a random public server with a low ping to see if it behaves any differently.

I have tried in several friends' servers; Jrod, Cory, and my own - with them in it, and both ways at least one of the guests has insanely high ping. I port forwarded the game as well, just to make that clear. I just tried a public server and it stayed around 300-350. We had no issues on version 16 that I recall.

Most common cause for high pings like that is not excluding the client from security software.
I've completely trusted 7 Days in my application manager for Kaspersky. Couldn't find anything else in my firewall, Win. Defender, or otherwise. Is there anywhere specifically you'd suggest I look?

Whoever has the high ping, needs to perform the tasks. If they don't think they have security software, they have Windows Defender.

I've excluded it from scanning in Windows Defender as well as Kaspersky. Played some last night and ping was better, roughly 100 when idle/harvesting trees, but still not viable for even a minibike, once moving ping spikes to 20k again and the world does not render fast enough, and I end up either bouncing back at the render wall, or sinking into the map.

UNET isn't used anymore.

Don't see any other issues in the log. What about the host?

Also might have the host try disabling LiteNetLib
