Unable to open containers

After the host restarted the multiplayer local server to increase the difficulty, I wasn't able to open any containers, but was able to open doors and pick objects off the ground.

My friends are able to interact with everything perfectly.

Neither me nor the host are hosting any mods.

All players have to leave the server before the host does. This way u wont have this issue again.

If u still cant open containers restart ur steam.

I've restarted my steam, but still had the issue persist. I've also tried clearing my cache, restarting my computer, restarting the server, verifying game integrity, and also trying to change the game settings.

Does the issue exist even if you play a single player map.

It doesn't exist in singleplayer, so I suspected it was a desync issue but I would've experienced other issues aswell.
