PC Trying to figure out how to copy map files

So I can't seem to figure out how to copy over the map files from a server I rent to my computer.  I'm wanting to switch to a new map that I'm going to use mods on so I want to copy my current map files over in case I ever want to go back to it.  I used Filezilla to get the saved files from 7daystodie/Saves.  Copied those over and loaded them up but I get a message saying "This Save Game is for a World that no Longer exists. If the World was from a Mod make sure that Mod is installed."  I found some information saying that I also need the world files from Data\Worlds\[World Name] to get the world working.  Shouldn't be a problem until I realize there isn't a file with that name.  All I have are the files Empty, Navezgane, Playtesting, PREGEN01, PREGEN02, and PREGEN03.  None of those are the correct files that I need to get the map to work.  The map works perfectly fine on the server.  All the other maps on my computer work fine even though I don't have any of those files in there either.  I'm not quite sure what to do at this point since all the info I'm finding is pointing me to a missing file.  It's probably something small I'm missing and will probably feel done when someone points out what I'm doing wrong but I'm not really sure where else to turn for help.

The folder you're looking at is in the steam/steamapps installation folder, that's not the place you're looking for.

There's another folder with the save game data and that includes user-generated worlds.

I'm on a linux, so I don't have the windows paths, but mine is ".local/share/7DaysToDie/Generated Wolds". I think that translates to something like "\user\AppData\7DaysToDie\Generated Wolds" in win, something like that.

Thank you for the help.  I was able to find that on my local computer but I'm realizing that Nitrado doesn't give me access to that folder thru their files.  So I'm having to get ahold of the support to try and get them to get it for me.  It's not going well so far lol.  They don't seem to quite know what's going on.

Right; it might also be somewhere completely different on a server. I haven't ran one myself, so, yeah. I hope a server owner comes across this one .. :)

Looks like the people over at Nitrado are pretty incompetent when it comes to that kind of thing sadly.  Might need to just go look for a different company to rent a server from.  Maybe one that knows the difference between uploading and downloading lol.

No personal experience, but I have friends that play on their own rented servers and they had to move away from nitrado due to constant issues that never got resolved / had others say they had the same issues with 7 days. Ping perfect and Bluefang seem to have way better experiences.

Thanks for the suggestions.  I'll take a look at those instead.  They can't be any worse than what I'm having to deal with currently lol.

*Edit:  Hey but talking about them here did get them to respond to my support ticket finally lol.  Even if they did give me information that didn't help at all.
