Windows Trader Inventory Glitch

Dedicated Server, currently on 2.1 Stable.
July 21: Had a mod conflict, uninstalled one of the mods.
July 24: Uninstalled a quest mod because it was destructive (had to blow up POIs) and a bit glitchy (mention because quests come from traders).
July 29: Installed 2 new mods (one that would add stuff to the biomes like plants, one decor mod). I was working on another mod (vehicle with its own trader block - was trying to get so he was the only one selling the vehicle parts) when we noticed you could walk behind the trader counter.
Aug 2: Over the past couple of days I had a trader glitch where when you tried to open a trader inventory, you got a "NullReferenceException" console error.

Once you escaped out, you were locked up. Hit esc again, and you were unlocked but your movement was messed up and you could not talk to the trader again. I noticed that I could typically look at the inventory once without the glitch happening, but if I tried to look at inventory again, I got the glitch. I always got the glitch after teleporting (map teleport or POI teleporter), but not after using ServerTools waypoints teleport.
I restored an earlier backup before the two new mods and before I was messing with the vehicles mod - it didn't fix the glitch. The server host tried restoring a backups for me, and then the world really started glitching, custom prefabs collapsing because part of the chunk reset, then disappearing completely. Server was FUBAR. Customer support worked on it over the course of the next few days until we finally concluded it was broken beyond repair. We decided to wipe the server, but use the same map.
Aug 4: Decided to update game to 2.2 b3 EXP since we were doing a wipe. Uploaded world, customer support installed mods folder so I wouldn't have to reupload them.
Aug 5: Had everyone delete old saved game, verify files, etc.
Aug 6: Player found HUGE world glitch with the map and mods were unhappy and not ready, decided to go back to 2.1 Stable.

Aug 7: Did a complete wipe. Reuploaded world, mods, etc. Forgot to upload prefabs, so I had to chunk reset some of them to get them to spawn correctly - but still had trees through buildings, etc. Oh well, I am nothing if not dedicated.
Aug 8: Logged into server and went all the way to the East, West, North and South to try and make sure we didn't have any of the above map glitches again (since it seemed to go clear across the map, so I was hoping if there was another one, it would also). That took awhile, it is a 10k map LOL.
Aug 10: The trader inventory glitch still happens! I was hoping it was only after I used admin teleports, no players said they had encountered the glitch. I did learn that logging out of the server (not the game) and back in removed the glitch, but it was still a chance when looking at the trader's inventory a second time or after a teleport. I even had it happen once when I got a distance away from the trader and came back. Sometimes it happens on the first try, but typically on the 2nd and always after admin teleporting.

Aug 15 PM-Aug 16: decided to reinstall all the mods, server files and steam files. Did keep the saves folder - but the host support accidentally deleted all my prefabs (most just simple buildings I made in Prefab Editor, but 2 were prefabs I got on Nexus). He put them back and the world loaded fine.... except, it didn't clear the trader inventory glitch.

I am out of ideas - can anyone please help me figure out why we are getting this error (it does not happen on a single player game with all the mods loaded) and hopefully how to fix it.
We are not wiping again. Three times in a row and not only are the players done, but I am done. I will take a long break from the game because I honestly just do not have it in me to redo it all again. On top of that, we are a long-run server - our first world ran from 2.0 to until January '25 and we hadn't planned to wipe again until 3.0 or a major stable update that would require a wipe - so the player base (and myself) are not into frequent wipes.
