Turns out the longer you or other players play, the more they do, the bigger their profile files get.
when they join the server, it hangs for quite a while every time. how long depends on how big the profile is. a new player is barely noticeable... one with hundreds of hours and level 200 hangs the server for almost 5 seconds.
wouldnt it be nice to have a tool that cleans those profile files from unnecessary junk?
we dont need a history of a all quests ever done, just keep the last 10 finished ones.
also a copy of the minimap or whatever is stored in those folders is not needed, the client does it anyways and it wont get synced when the client cleans his folder. so what does it even do?
the tool obviously should keep everything else like learned skills, inventory, important stuff.
just get rid of everything thats not needed anymore.
