PC the ghillie suit is a major disappointment

For the first time I managed to loot and or acquire all seven magazines and was able to make a ghillie suit. I was ecstatic because this was something new. It's worthless.

It replaced my hood, chest, and legs with armor that that had NO modification slots.

Since it is light armor, it should scale with the light armor skill and have the appropriate modification slots.

I'd imagine it is a placeholder for later development.  There used to be rad suits, too.  Some (much?) of what they are doing recently is still prepping for bandits, I'm sure.

Everything will change with outfits. No use fixing the current implementation of any current armor or clothes. It’s a dead end street.

Still are. They're an exceptionally rare, high game stage drop.

It's a observability reducing variant of plant fiber clothing. It isn't armor.

I agree. With it being a "reward" for finding all 7 magazines, it does rather suck. However, stealth players would probably disagree. I didn't test it out but maybe it makes the player damn near invisible until noise is made.

However as Maharin said, it's obviously a soon to get better feature, especially with the new outfit class system coming in A20.

Just tried it. The head ghillie suit actually replaces the helmet, but the other two parts just replace clothing.

And the stealth effect in broad daylight is a stealth meter value aka visibility of 27 instead of 35 when you do nothing. As a stealth player I would definitely use the two clothing items, and the head slot item only after I found the night vision goggles.

Oh that's a good point. I didn't notice it replaced clothing and I have night vision goggles
