I have a rule I try to keep and it is to give credit where it is due. I have always been very impressed with 7d2d in general. I remember playing another game where you could only have bases in predetermined areas and that stuck in my craw hardcore. Hated it but I mostly like the rest of that game a lot.

The only voxel game I had tried before was mineraft and it didnt grab me at all. But when I heard about 7d2d I was in heaven. World and city gen just keeps getting better and better and I love it. A whole destructible world which I had never seen so well done.

I also appreciate overall how mods work so well with the game and am thankful for all the work you guys do to ensure things work as well as they do.

I also appreciate the passion the devs have for the game. It can be hard to maintain that passion over time but the devs manage to do it. Kudos on that.

Some of the proposed changes to 2.0 based on player comment don't grab me personally but I see it as the Devs taking player thoughts into consideration and thank you for that. it is easy for me to complain when I haven't walked in the Devs shoes.

Devs thanks for continuing to work on 7d2d and thanks for listening.

I agree. It seems they listened and are changing some of the things people didn't like. They could have just said nothing and kept everything they way they want.

To early to relax! even if Fun pimps made small concessions on stream after years of destroying the game - it still doesn't mean they'll stop messing around! I suggest players to not rush with conclusions and looking on a situations in future

It feels like the so called town hall was a damage control reaction to the bad reviews on steam. The complaints on reddit, these forums and steam forums have largely been ignored for years. Steam reviews can hit the wallet. The graph for the day after this 'great' stream show 332neg 76 pos. Today is starting similarly.

Brilliant game. So many great mechanics - I love the building system, the skill system, experience system, and the artwork is getting better and better. The open world with so much to explore and the intensity when things start to unravel and you have to fight for your life. I do think it is not challenging enough (I play on insanity with less loot), but that is mostly due to my experience. The developers need to make default settings so that new players are having fun, too. The fact that we can adjust so many of the settings is a great plus. I look forward to future updates :)

The developers need to make default settings
There are default settings. Can't say the 100% player block damage works for me from the outset. Set that to 300% until you get into better tools, though, and I'm good. Also, the difficulty slider. I find 'warrior 'difficulty the best middle of the road option between pushover and bullet/melee sponge. Others' mileage may vary. (I think the default is lower.)
The fact that we can adjust so many of the settings is a great plus.
Indeed. If you squint, you can almost cater it to whatever experience you like. "Impressive. Most impressive." Maybe not as impressive as GCM and SCM for FO4, but close.
