XBOX Telltale Xbox 7 d2d

Hi I have a question. Who do I contact about the issue of the purchase I made of the telltale version of 7 days to die that is now defunct and not updating. I purchased the game from Xbox store when it released and I also purchased the steam version for pc when I had one, then telltale disappeared, the game is left unplayed in the state of the current version. I know it’s not your company who is responsible for this but I am left with a broken game and having to pay full price for it a 3rd time. I would rather find how to hold telltale or it’s former owner responsible for the loss of income if I am going to pay that 3rd time. Not trying to sound entitled. Just tired of large companies like telltale that crap on people like me and have little consequences or repercussion

TellTale is no more. You are a few years behind the news here. They went fully bankrupt as a result of their shady business practices, and no longer exist.

You purchased a game that was sold as a finished product. Not something that was still continuing to develop. Basically, you got what you paid for.
Due to how TellTale released the game, it was going to be forever locked in the Alpha 14.7 state. Sure it got some tidbits from a15, and might have received some a16 content in the future, but that was as far as it was ever going to get. Again, this is entirely due to TellTale releasing it as a finished game, and not something that was Alpha/Preview.

Not that the PS4 or old Xbox consoles had the hardware to go further than that anyway.

All you can do is wait for a sale to get the real game.

Sucks shady companies don’t get any punishment for their actions but us little people would lose everything if we did everything they do lol

Thanks for your reply and I will definitely wait for the sale

Considering they went bankrupt, they kind of did get punished. Anyhow, it is unfortunate how things turned out with that. TFP had tried to find a way to get Sony/MS to allow people to get the new version without paying, but was unable to get approval because it was a different company from the original release. They were able to get a discount for a short time for people, but that was all. The best option now is to wait for a sale. Sales happen fairly often.
