Taking away ps4???

Why is the game being taken away from people who have bought it on ps4? The game was paid for so any updates should come for free and available on the same console. What if these people do not have a ps5 ? We have to pay to upgrade our console to then buy a game that we have already purchased?? Am I the only one who doesn't see this as fair ??

It isn't being taken away. You can still play it, just not buy it. You'd have to buy it again anyway even if you owned the original release on PS5. They aren't allowed to update the old version from my understanding. It's basically a new game. If they are struggling to get it to run on a PS5 it isn't gonna run on a PS4. 

It's a not great situation but at the end of the day you should be mad at TellTale for being a terribly ran company, not at TFP for bringing the game back to consoles.

If you have the game already you won't lose access to it. It just can't be updated for the older consoles. You can still play away at it.

Oh OK I thought I was being taken away completely. I'm not sure who the other company is I don't know much about it I was just excited when I heard there was an update as I love the game but I think a part of my soul died when I found out its only going to be available on ps5. Thank you for helping me understand
