Stuck on downloading world.

I've scoured the internet and have tried multiple things.  I've never had an issue with alpha 21 and under.  I upgraded to experimental 1.0 and half the servers I tried to join, paused on the downloading world screen.  I've even left it over night and it didn't change.  I verified integrity of files multiple times, I've cleaned my game data, deleted AppData, few other things I can't remember whatever was suggested.  I'm not running any mods.  So I reinstalled all my files and went back to alpha 21.  Now I can't even join any online servers.  They all stop downloading at random times.  I've tried maybe 12-15 servers so far for alpha 21.  
Could it be my internet speed is too low?  I can't change that atm, it's 600 'KB' a second.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't use servers, but I have seen the download stop on P2P.  The fix was just to try a second time and it has always worked.  Haven't had this happen in 1.0 yet, but I've only had to share worlds a couple times so far and it was rare to happen in earlier versions.  Might be a different issue, though.

 
I've tried many times, that isn't the fix for me.  I've also tried typing random things into F1 console after download stopped.  Thanks.
