stuck on "creating player" screen

I haven't played this in 6 months or so and my group decided to give it another go.  When I attempt to log in, I'm stuck on the "creating player" screen.  I've uninstalled and deleted all the associated folders off my drive and re-installed.   Same problem.  

Any thoughts on what's going on?

You didn't provide any details at all that would help someone to help you.  A log file would be a good start.  But most issues at creating player are due to a corrupted profile that would need to be deleted from the host/server.
