PC Steam Workshop Question?

With Steam Workshop being developed, I had a small question. I currently use GeforceNow to play 7D2D, a PC that runs a dedicated server and I have created a few server-side specific mods, but with the workshop, does that mean we can have mods with assets and not require the clients to download them?

Even with Workshop, the clients would still need to download and install the mods.

This is one of the caveats you have to accept when you aren't hosting the game locally. GFN does not support mods in any way. You're basically just streaming games from a computer that has vanilla games installed, and no access to download and install mods.

I can use server-side mods. I was just hoping to expand on the mods I've made with assets and icons, but I guess I'll hold out for now.
