Starvation farm in winter

Hello, i'm new in this forum . I plays with some friends on a starvation server and we have some difficulty with the winter ( the winter start in may ans now we are in july ). How can we cultivate ? because all vegetable disappears fast from cold.

 
A new game starts in January, which is the Southern hemisphere's Spring. The idea is to grow food and hunt in the three seasons before winter, then survive the winter where nothing grows and good animals are scarce. You could turn off weather in the starvationconfig.xml file, or edit the dates of the seasons in the starvationweather.xml file. Those files are found in a folder under your starvation save game directory.
