Space (empty) between blocks.

Every time I place a block (wood. cement, iron...) in the ground it creates "that empty space" on the upper side of the ground, until now I have always solved it by placing a panel or a slab on the ground to cover that hole, but it is not always possible.
Is there a way to solve it? Thanks for the help!

In the Prefab Editor you can fix the gully - make a selection of the block(s) and hit CNTRL-SHIFT-UP.

Outside the Prefab Editor, I don't know of a way.

Yep. It's a bit fiddly but it does work.
