PC Sound issue

Been playing for a while in this save for a while split screen on day 140 or so, we just loaded up the game and there are no sound effects from the characters like foot steps gun shots clangs wen using the pick ax. Nothing at all

 
Have you tied clearing your cache (fully power down for at least 5 minutes)? Other people that have reported this issue have found dumping the cache gets rid of the issue.

As Damselx1 mentioned above, please try clearing the cache of your console, this should fix the issue.

Would you mind telling me what you were doing on the console before playing the game?

Were any settings changed?

Another game played beforehand?

Did you shut down the game via the menu or otherwise the last time you played?

Was the game exited completely or was it suspended in the main menu before you started to play the session with the sound issues?
