Sound Glitch / Lag

So in my unmodded world where me and a couple friends have our houses… for some reason the sound lags and does not match up with the guns firing and some areas i look just turn my frames to gu but then i travel not even .5 km away and everything is normal. So there has to be something slugging the game there but i cannot seem to figure out what it could be  

my specs are 3080 i9 64 gb ram Alienware laptop

 
Normally that probably would be the case but i keep my temps at about 73-76 Celsius using 2 desk fans and a cooling fan pad. So I'm still not sure but thank you for the response

 
Do you have auto turrets at your base by any chance?

I have heard and experienced delayed sound with shotgun turrets and auto turrets before,  but the issue seemed sporadic.

It would help if you could give a full report with all the information needed,  including a log from the server and client.
