The game started lagging massively after I had arrived to my house (/Base) I had gotten out of my 4x4 truck and gone in my base and the game started lagging, It could be due to me being around the map and all of that put pressure on the game. But I closed the game, it still lagged. I haven't restarted my PS5 Yet, and I haven't Uninstalled-Reinstalled it yet. What is the issue, and what can I do to solve it?

Why would this get you help faster posting in the wrong forum? Does going to city hall to renew your license get you faster than the DMV?

Being in the PC forum is less of a problem than being in the discussion forum instead of support forum.  I'm sure this will get moved eventually.

Only 1 thing has caused my game to lag and not go away on PS5 and that was having all my light switches on at my base with too many fluorescent lights. Kinda did that on purpose to see if it would happen. So if you have a lot of electric lights with no switches to turn them off room by room do that go green.

Do you have a lot of trees you planted? I noticed lag during growth cycles but would clear up once full height. I have a good amount of tress I planted but have also been removing all other trees in sight that I didn’t plant. Not sure if that helps but I find it relaxing. Too many player planted trees could be the issue as they do eat up performance.

Light sources seem to be very unoptimized in V1.0. I have that too on PC that it lags at my home base. And i am well over the recommended specs.

after a week of troubleshooting. I have concluded that it was all of the iron that came from the oil shale storage tanks I had knocked down. i destroyed them all and the lag stopped.
