I really wish this game had fishing, with new fish food recipes and a small gas engine motor boat and/or raft that you could craft. Also, those big blue water barrels in the game could be used as the boat or raft's floating component to stay afloat in the water, where you can craft one (for example) out of blue water barrels, wood, duct tape, electrical parts and a gas motor engine. There's been a few times as of recently while playing the game, where I wish there was a way to just cross a large lake or ride down a river instead of having to always go all the way around just to get to the other side. Plus, if fishing was added into the game it would make for some awesome fishing adventures, driving around a lake casting the line out from my fishing pole to gather some fresh fish, which could also lead to crafting some new food recipes (for example) Fried Salmon, Salmon Casserole and Salmon & Baked Potato meal...chef's kiss!! 
With all of that said, I think it would be really cool being able to build a base offshore next to a lake with your own little ship dock for your gas engine motor boat lol!, that would be super awesome, especially if fishing was to get added into the game as well where you can fish for a food and new recipes. And I know can Salmon is already im the game, but fresh Salmon can be more filling than the processed Salmon in a can. And lastly, I kinda have a feeling on why a motor boat or raft may have never been added into the game in the past, and could it be due to how water inflicts with zombie spawns? However, if the devs are worried about players riding around a lake in a motor boat on horde nights, can't you just make it to where super vultures will spawn directly above the player to prevent certain people from taking advantage of this exploit just like with all the other vehicles in the game during a blood moon?
Anyway, I really think fishing, new fish food recipes and a gas engine motor boat and/or raft would be really cool additions to the game imo. You could also add some really cool stuff around fishing too, like a perk that helps to boost your chances of catching more fish or a Fisherman outfit set that increases your fish bite % on how many more fish bites you can attrack. Idk, these are just some ideas I had that I wanted to share with the community.
