can you explain in more detail how you fixed this? I`m trying to setup a server on pc but its not showing in the list on my ps5...Do I have to search for a gamertag? its not very intuitive on how you set up crossplay with the pc. im trying to set up my router to open the ports and im still not seeing it on the ps5 server list....what could i be doing wrong?I'm seeing on their side PC-hosted servers with crossplay, but mine isn't showing up when they search it. I'm on EAC, I have crossplay enabled (so do they), and the server has a unique name that if searching would be the only result. I'm in the game right now on PC, but it's not showing up on theirs—and yes, we're both on the same internet connection. I've restarted the game after creating the server as well, and nothing.
Just trying to figure out what's going on, as I have no idea (I've also never done a multiplayer server so I know very little about what I'm doing in general).

thanks for response.....so are you saying that the pc server wont automatically show in the server list? so to see it you have to manually search for my steam gamertag and it will show up that way? if i understand you correctly?Okay, I got this!
- Make sure both you and the person on console have Crossplay enabled (you can find it in the Join Game menu, but I think you also have to enable it in the General Settings menu too)
- Whichever person is making the server, make sure you have it set to Public. I think if it's friends only it won't work, unless you're both on the same version of the game (i.e you can invite them via gamertag)
- Set your password, settings, etc, and start the game as the host, then wait until you're physically in game
- Wait a few seconds (not sure if this is needed, but it probably helps the game catch up and add the server to the list)
- Have the other person on whichever system look up your gamertag (steam name, gamertag, psn name, whichever one it is) in the "Server Name" search, aka the Host's name (since I set it up, it was mine, and my parent searched for it).
- It should pop up if you search it; join it like you would any multiplayer server!
if there's a password, it will have a lock before the gamertag in the List on the left—when you join, it'll prompt you to enter the password, so do that.
Then after it downloads the map files and server files, you should be able to join. It took a minute for my parent with the downloads and stuff, but eventually it should say your friend/family member joined the game on the left side of the screen.
After that all you have to do is go to the Players tab (it's in between Challenges and Quests), and make sure you add them as an Ally and to your party if you want shared XP and to see where they are. They'll have to go to the same tab and accept both invites.
I got hung up on the server name part. The Server List shows gamertags.
That's probably way complicated of settings but I am (diagnosed) autistic and tend to both yap and over-explain, so sorry if it's a lot of information. I do hope it helps!!![]()
since the list is limited if u want to find a specific one u def need to look for it by namethanks for response.....so are you saying that the pc server wont automatically show in the server list? so to see it you have to manually search for my steam gamertag and it will show up that way? if i understand you correctly?
