PC Sniper rifle (marksman, MR10) has no attachments option

I finally found a scope and was looking forward to attaching it to my sniper rifle. But the sniper rifle has no "Modify" option in my game!

I went looking through the items.xml and noticed the marksman rifle is called "MR10" but it does appear to have all the requirements for attachments. Is it just my game is it something new?

This is of course A17E b208

 
I am assuming you made that Rifle yourself? There is currently a bug that when you craft items (i've seen it so far with Sniper Rifles and a Sledgehammer) the number of mod slots you get is random.

I did craft this one myself. And yeah, the ones I've found are able to have the scope attached. Thanks for the knowledge!

 
I've had it happen with at least one item purchased from a trader as well. Proud owner of a green quality machete with only 1 slot. Cost me a dear penny too :/
