Installed latest DF mod. Started a new game with a DF map. Just left trader Jen and the game turned into a slide show with FPS in single digits. I tried in booth the new and old location with a retart between

Afaik, DF doesn't work well with other mods installed. I'd start by uninstalling those. Are you using DF 4.03?

problem solved. It my was my stupid editing that cause the problem. I was messing around with the xml to increase magazine size and I had to many zeroes. Re-installed all of the DF stuff and it is running as it was. Lesson there, if it aint broke don't fix it.
