how do I turn off this storm stuff. 4 hours in game and 30 IRL are you kidding me. And traveling across the map in the gyro, have fun with that.
 
THANK YOU, I totally missed the button, wish it would not just go 100/50/0 I mean every once in awhile 10/20, then it adds some drama. But its the pimps so LOOK AT MY NEW THING! LOOOOOK AT IT. lol.

Although that's how the choices are set up, I have a feeling you could set other values by editing it in the serverconfig.xml file in the game directory. Just search for stormfreq and change the value to see.
 
storms might not be boring if they didn't deal so much damage that they forced the player to drop everything and stand afk in cover
 
During the tests I found out that the developers balanced the storm damage for the maximum pumping of the regeneration perk. With the maximum pumping of this perk and under the influence of the first aid kit, you can stand outside during a storm and keep your health at a single value, but the problem is that this perk is not pumped by everyone and in the very late game.
