Anytime the game has an update mine and my friends worlds are gone?? we've had so much progress lost way too many times. Please fix this!!

Not a bug. This is normal during updates as there are tons of data changes that become incompatible.

Major updates (2.0, 3.0, 4.0) will require a new game. Minor updates normally don't. This is due to a significant number of major changes to the game. This is the cost of playing a game that is too being developed, unfortunately.
