XBOX Session closed by peer?

I keep having the issue trying to join any game currently. No one can join me either.

States “session closed by peer”
Every once in awhile I can get into a game. Most of time, that is the error message I receive. I have checked my connections and I have no problems with any other games I play. Router has been reset and issue persists. I can’t find information on this anywhere.

I am on console. Xbox series X.
If I need to give more info I will do my best.
A couple of my other friends are having this issue as well. No settings have been changed. Didn’t have this problem before 2.1 update. 2.0 worked fine with no issues.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it still won’t connect to any server.
I posted originally in game support section and still no reply from anyone. I love this game and want to continue to play.
Help would be greatly appreciated!

I’m on Xbox and there isn’t instructions on how to pull the log files from there.

I’m having the same issue. I’m on Xbox and my friend who hosts is also on Xbox. I can manually search for the game and it shows up, I can see everything from the IP to the port but as soon as I click to join, I get the “Session Closed by Peer” message.

He’s sent me game invites and I click them then immediately get the error as well. I’ve never had this issue until today.

This is super frustrating and needs more attention!

Same. I’ve tried joining pc and PlayStation servers as well and still same error.
