PC Serious question

I would put this all into professional terms with a dissertation and some brilliance but it's not worth the effort so here's a shortened abridged version...

I bought this game on PS4. I paid more for it than what it costs on PC. PC is like 4 versions passed Console right now. PC as stated is still early access which means the game is nowhere near complete. Console version very obviously will never reach a completed state. This game is incomplete, and will remain incomplete forever. I would like a refund. Can I get my money back for buying an unfinished, never to be finished, completely ignored product?

 
What the PC has and console has are two different things. The console version was sold as a finished version of A14 from several PC version ago. Console version was not never in alpha. So doubt it you get a refund or at least from here. You have to go where you bought it and see if they will or not.

 
You got what you paid for. Your refund status would follow with the return policy for the retailer you purchased it from. If this was a digital retailer, it's usually 14 days with less than 2 hours of gameplay.

 
That's cool, I've had a game where at different states of time it has been completely unplayable.

Right now it's complete unplayable.

Things don't render in, invisible zeds, invisible buildings, constant crashes, FPS of 2, etc etc etc...

And unlike before where fixes could be coming, there's no fixes ever coming.

Lesson learned, don't buy anything further from TFP, IG or TT...well at least with TT I don't have to worry about them ever being involved with any other games.

 
A note for any developers out there;

I understand that the original owner of this game is closed now, so...

I will pay for an updated version of Seven Days to Die.

I will re-purchase an expanded version of this game if it gets some polishing.

I will pay for a DLC.

You'd pay $60 for a game you already own? I was upset paying $20-$30 and finding out the game is in such disarray no way would i pay anything additional. For all this talk of "buying a complete version" i have yet to see any disclaimer stating the list of issues with the game and the fact there is 0 support and hasn't been support for over a year

Guess when Homefront the first game was released it wasn't a finished game either? THQ went under or I think it was them that made that game. No more support or anything was given and it was still a buggy glitchy game.... guess when the division 2 was released it was a unfinished game as it was buggy and glitchy even after beta hell still is. Only difference is they are in business and still releasing updates.

The game was sold as a finished game just like those games because the game itself was complete just like those. They wasn't sure if they could make anymore changes to the game or do anything more from the PC side. TT seen a complete game from what PC had in A14. They seen that enough content was in the game at the time to consider it a finished game. Sure it had bugs and glitches but just like any game that comes out today has those. Until they went bankrupt they stayed working at it.

Hard to give support on the game when nobody is able to at the moment. It might end up that it don't get anymore support just like Homefront and many other games. But the last info was given was to be patient they still working out legal stuff.

If you're having that many problems, you might have a damaged disc or a console problem? Also, if you're playing an old save from before the previous update that causes issues too.

Support wasnt given before the shutdown lets be honest. Console hasn't seen anything in well over a year and at this point it's a bit of a joke really. Every other game you mention has had support and/or has continued support unlike this one. I have never seen a game still being sold that has 0 support, shares the title of a PC game yet is years behind that version and has no disclaimer that the game your buying isnt the same the as the pc version. Yes everyone who already bought this on console has found out the hard way that we purchased an out of date game but that only makes it worse. At no point was there anything released to console players that they were/are buying a totally different. This is the lack of transparency and honesty that has been the reason console players are so upset with everyone involved.

Well that and console sales benefiting pc players but not seeing any return themselves

 
Claire was here before all this stuff happened. She did a very good job. So not sure where you was before. She turned in people's big fixes and other suggestions and plus more. Did all the bugs get fixed no some did but not all. Did they hear what people was sayin probably but went in one ear and out the other for the most part.

Yes division 2 has support because it is still active company working on them. Besides that games today do not come out as a finished game. As far as homefront goes when that company went out of business no it did not have anymore support what so ever. I mean I could set here and list game after game but it all comes out the same way. So this game came out it had support when homefront came out it had support. When THQ or whatever it was went bankrupt the game was finished Activision I think who bought it did nothing what so ever with it and it was still I the stores to buy. When TT went bankrupt 7dtd lost support. The only difference is TFP are trying get it straightened out and so far there is a chance it gets support again. Believe it or not that is up to you and your opinion one way or the other.

If you bought 7dtd because you thought it was like PC version that is on you really. That is like me buying minecraft ps4 edition and get mad because I thought it would be like minecraft java edition. It is called research stuff before you buy it. It isn't a companies job to tell you everything. Just because it is cheaper then the things one normally does research on doesn't mean you don't. If you dont then point the finger at yourself. So guess because one didn't find out what they could before they bought gives them the right to throw a fit. Smh if you say so. Let us know how it works out for ya.
