Senddata requested without active connection ??

trying to log in to a server I play on, can log into others just fine but it says

WRN NET LITENETLIB Senddata request without active connection

and I just handing on "Creating Player" on the loading screen.

Log file please.
I am also experiencing the same issues as above.

Steps to recreate:

Start game, click "Join Server"

Search for friends server I've previously played on

Connect and type password

At loading of configs the console starts filling up with the above mentioned error

Remediation attempts:

I have verified file integrity, which ended up erroring out due to a file currently being in use during the process.

I then uninstalled and re-installed the game through the Xbox launcher, moving my initial installation from a HDD to an nvme and then attempted to re-join the server.

First time joining I got as far as "Creating Character" and eventually got the "WRN NET LITENETLIB" error again.

Each attempt after, the error started after loading of the configs.

I've asked the admin if he could restart the server and still experience the same issue after a server restart.

Looking in the logs, I see that a remote connection is seemingly dropped, so I've verified there were ports open in my firewall specific to 7D2D.

I have a total of 5 ports available:

Inbound: 4

Two ports reference the .exe of my previous installation and are open to any port for TCP and UDP under the Private profile

Two ports reference the new installation following the same rules

Outbound: 1

Open to any port, any protocol and any profile

Here are my logs, I've redacted my user name only for personal privacy:

Try removing all of the Asus apps.

Also remove whatever app is starting lightingservice.exe.

And NZXT Cam

See if your vpn allows split tunnelling, and if so, allow 7 days to die to bypass your vpn.

And remove ROG live service.

Removing/temporarily killing Asus and related software is rather finicky, so that will probably be for another day..

I will try killing the NZXT processes and try again tomorrow and report back.

My VPN is only active for two applications used for rdp access mostly, everything else is bypassed.

These seem like programs that shouldn't cause issues with connectivity though, outside of the VPN. NZXT and ROG are for my lights and BIOS/system/driver updates, and up until recently a fan controller too. These applications did not prevent me from previously connecting over the past month, so what would they be doing differently now without user intervention?

Removing them has fixed other player's network issues. It's troubleshooting. You can put them back after you've determined if they are the problem.

Lightingservice and other RGB software is known to trigger EAC and even anti-virus software because it has low level access to your motherboard.

NZXT Cam has had crashing, freezing, etc. issues since it's inception. It's always been very buggy.

VPN software is known to cause problems with MP in this game.

ROG Live is yet another low level lighting app that can cause issues, and especially when you're running two different lighting apps.

I was not aware of lighting programs affecting EAC, I apologize if I came off rude.

This should have been fixed in the backend. Try again and report back.

Tested multiple times with no issues, thank you!
