PC Run Teleport?

I was in a game when I was running up to the trader's base when my game froze.  I was just reaching the corner of the base.  When I unfroze I was on the opposite corner, like my guy kept on running during that game freeze.   The weirdest part was as I turned around to the trader's base a zombie nurse was walking up to the trader's door  not even aware of me.  That tripped my mind out. 

I am still questioning if this actually happened and want to do that again.

If that happened in the night (i.e. after 10pm) the trader was closed and everyone who gets near the trader gets teleported to a random location around it.

The freeze probably happened because the game needed to load a new chunk, normally it works without freeze.
