Rogue Hood Causes “Mesh.vertices is too small” Error When Equipped (v2.5 b27, Vanilla)

Refugee
Version
v2.5 (b27)
Platform
Windows

Game Version: Stable v2.5 (b27)
Mods: None (vanilla)
Server Type: Dedicated server (Windows)
Client OS: Windows

Summary:

Equipping the Rogue Hood consistently triggers the error:
ERR Mesh.vertices is too small. The supplied vertex array has less vertices than are referenced by the triangles array.

The error occurs when:
  • equipping or removing the Rogue Hood
  • swapping weapons on the hotbar
  • teleporting
  • changing armor visuals

Removing the Rogue Hood immediately stops the errors. Other helmets do not cause this.

Expected Result

No mesh-related errors when changing equipment or teleporting.

Reproduction Steps
  • Join a vanilla server running v2.5 (b27).
  • Equip a Rogue Hood (no mods or dyes installed).
  • Swap weapons in the toolbelt or teleport.
  • Observe the error in the console/log.
  • Remove the Rogue Hood.
  • Repeat weapon swap / teleport — error no longer appears.

Tested again on v2.5 b32 (stable).

Equipped Rogue Hood, swapped weapons, teleported multiple times (including to several traders) — no more Mesh.vertices is too small errors.

Looks fixed now.
Thanks to QA/dev team for the quick turnaround!
