Returning to the old Alpha

Hello all, question.

I am a Youtuber and I was doing a series on the last Alpha before the Beta dropped. I was avoiding the update because I wanted to finish the current series/playthroughy before starting the Beta but Steam auto updated the game for me and now I can not access my old files. Is there any way to revert back so I can finish my play through and then go to the Beta? Appreciate any help you can offer on this.

In Steam, right click on the game and choose properties.  Under betas, select the version you want.  The game will reinstall that version of the game, removing the current version.  You will need to change it back to current version in there when you are ready to update.
