Returning to Play to Bad Performance

Hi everyone. I have played 7D2D yesterday once again after I had a break for several months from the game. Unlike a few months ago I was unable to play the game without lags, especially when looking on the ground and moving forward I could clearly see the grass "jumping" by. Even lowering my settings drastically to an extent that made the game look ugly and unplayable didn't solve the lag issue. Usually I was able to play on high settings and full HD without any lags at all.

Is that a common issue with one of the latest updates? I have not followed the discussion here lately at all so any kind of help is much appreciated 🙂

 
Please don’t post support questions in the developer diary. They belong here in the support forum. I suggest you also include more information about your specs and perhaps an output log. 
 

If you haven’t done so already, I would do a full clean of your old files using the game launcher tools and verify your game cache In Steam.

Any number of things could have happened since then... you should probably try to remember if you installed/updated anything that could impact the game in the interim.

 
Several months wouldn't have had that big of a change. Several years could if you were at min spec for a15.

As the others said, more details are required. At a minimum I'll need logs. A link to a published Speccy report would be very helpful as well. Instructions are in the Sticky thread that tells you to read it before posting.

Yeah, I should probably rename the sticky.  I didn't intend for it to sound like I was chiding them for not reading it.   That headline is originally from Allocs post.
