Resting

Почему нет возможности поспать (но не во время кровавой луны)
This would be a good mechanic, but with adjustments. Dangers during sleep: attacks by vultures, walkers (chance of a screamer appearing) and other consequences (not just skipping the night with a snap of the fingers)

It basically comes down to this game not having a separation between single player and multiplayer and servers, so sleeping isn't available as it wouldn't be great on servers  (or even P2P) where everyone would have to agree to it.  Also, the game is designed to offer you a lot of things to do, even at night - night only quests, building, crafting, etc.  You might stay in and do nothing the first night or two if you're not comfortable with being out at night, but after a couple of days everyone should be equipped well enough to handle being out at night, even if they are new players.  So there's really no reason to skip nights.

Now, this doesn't mean they might not one day add a sleep option to the game.  It gets suggested once in a while, so who knows?

A single-player game makes sense. Sometimes I want to reduce the waiting time while something is being done in the forge or on the workbench.
But the game has no separate single player mode.  And I don't think the excuse of skipping the time to craft something is a good reason to add sleeping.  Skipping nights because you feel like you have nothing to do (as mentioned, there are plenty of things to do, but new players probably aren't doing any of those things right away) would be a good reason.  But it would still need to work for multiplayer as well.

But the game has no separate single player mode.
I wouldn't say that. The game still understands whether you are playing alone or with friends. In single-player mode, it can be paused, unlike multiplayer mode.

In Conan Exiles, for example, you cannot pause the game. What forces you to exit from it to the menu if you need to step away from the computer.
