Resetting the portal in the Lab

Hi Kaine

I love this mod Darkness Falls, and it keeps a person on their toes :)   I am wondering if there is a way to reset the portal in the lab?  We play this game with 2 of our kids, and they have not experienced the portal, so wondering if it is at all possible to reset it.  I have looked for this topic, but have not found anything on this same subject as of yet.  Thanks
