Is the research lab still in the prefabs for this mod.  I have generated numerous maps and have yet to find it in the prefab list for the map

 
Maybe ask the mod author himself in his thread, otherwise he likely won't see your question.

Meanwhile I moved your post to "Discussion and Requests". Mods is for announcing Mods and for communicating with mod authors directly in their thread
