Repairable broken workbench/forge/mixer

It'd be neat if you could repair broken workbench/forge/mixer if you had key items to build them on your person, and the ability's to build them.

Make a working workbench out of a broken one with some iron and a wrench? ...yes please!

Interesting idea, but i would like this to be extended. Make destroyed workbenches, forges, etc. look broken. Secondly, push them behind recipe books, making the player require to know the recipe to be able to repair it (costs smaller than building it).

Concerning the topic of work stations behind recipes, i've stated my mind here.
