PC Repair trip wires?

I've not used tripwires before so I need a little help on how to repair them. Won't let me pick em up as they are damaged (40/100) but nothing happens when I try to repair them either. No indicator of missing material etc.

Suggestions? And thanks in advance

 
So, does anyone know if they are repairable? My base design makes it difficult to replace them everytime they become damaged.
