Acid is quite common at the traders. Shouldn´t be a problem.

Remember when the "Forge Ahead" book was a pain to find? No forge without it. I think we once went to day 35ish before we found it.

 
It is not nearly as easy to find as it once was. When I finally got my chemistry station schematic, I had everything I need except the acid. Only had three. I think it was five more levels before I got five

Your best chance is to find that book which allows you to harvest acid from cars

Oh and also chop down the medical cabinets, the white one not those with the mirror, empty ones and lootable ones (after beeing looted ofc) they also give you acid. For whatever weird reason. Acid barrels aswell.

Also needs the book but those cabinets give you acid nearly everytime, cars and barrels not so much.

Acid is not so common at the traders anymore.

(or RNG is being... nasty)

None at 7 traders the last 3 refreshes.

(same for the last book I need to complete all the sets.)
